"Here there modifies songs of Uriah Heep and Deep Purple, presents his own revealing his respect for them, especially not pretend that he wanted to do something different or to compete with. "

" Avi Rosenfeld is a talented Israeli guitarist who has an obvious passion for Ritchie Blackmore and the hard rock in general and Deep Purple and Uriah Heep in particular. The idea of these albums is not exactly making a collection of covers, but put the inspiration that these two entities cause to work and record the result.”. "

" Different vocalists are used on each track, so you'll get varying flavors throughout, but the guitar/Hammond organ punch is ever present, with Rosendfeld's Blackmore-meets-Mick Box guitar licks very tasty at every juncture. "

"and so has decided to gather his muso friends around him to pay homage to those bands through the …Purple albums. And bugger me if he hasn’t succeeded!"

" The most recent in this series is "Very Very Heepy Purple V" a tribute to the sound of URIAH HEEP and DEEP PURPLE. Here AVI ROSENFELD however, make it their own ideas and influences of numerous international musicians in his compositions. A certain basic style within the meaning of Seventies rock hums through the whole album, but the songs are as varied as the changing with every song musicians and singers."

"With Very Heepy, Very Purple V I must say that Avi does indeed, as he says, pay tribute to the bands he (and I) listened to discovering “proper” music and still listen to now. Not only that, he pays that tribute in an original way with a nice set of strongly written and performed songs in the classic rock vein."

"Rosenfeld has been fascinated by 1970s classic rock music as well as some of the classic vinyl cover art since an early age. He cites the Deep Purple albums In RockFireball and Machine Head along with the Uriah Heap records Very ‘Eavy Very ‘Umble, Salisbury and Look at Yourself as some of his earliest musical influences."

"Avi has been playing the guitar since he was thirteen and certainly knows how to play Blackmore influenced solos.  The album title also gives a big clue of the music contained on here and it is a groovy mix of Rainbow, Uriah Heep and Deep Purple."

"Just read the disc title to see what are the main influences and there is no doubt that the hard rock classic Uriah Heep and Deep Purple is well represented here. And this set of ten themes is so brilliant that we can say that this is a case where the student surpasses the master!"

" The music is of a higher lever and this also counts for the production. A point in fever of Avi is that he is looking in a broader perspective than just Uriah Heep and Deep Purple on this album. The sound is still influenced by these bands but the music covers more bands of the seventies rock. Personally I think that this makes the music more fun to listen to. "

" I listen to a few seconds with a distracted ear, before suddenly resume my mind: "damn, but it's really good!". I wrongly thought that it was an umpteenth Tribute Band of Deep Purple, also taking Uriah Heep. But no ! Rosenfeld plays an original music that can remind these two English groups from near and far.
