Le cocktail d'AVI ......

daisylis • Mar 21, 2012

...il y a du rock en hébreu, un Blues en russe, un Gypsy swing, quelques zestes de latin touch, quelques gouttes de Beatles, et bien d'autres choses encore, sans oublier la cerise sur le gâteau un Funk avec son fils.... Allo ? Allo ? Merci pour ce très moment, et BRAVO !

The Cure for the "I hate Mondays Blues"...:D

'Kompozitsia VIII', is a 11 track, Hebrew and English Language(s), Classic Rock- Lounge Swing Band, Blues--World Beat((Israeli) album. Avi Rosenfeld is the Consummate Artist in Reliability! I am aware that is a rather strange introduction for a Musician( Not a Used Car Salesman :D ) but Long Time Fans and/or Listeners of Jamendo will instantly Recognize his Unique Vocal Style and Penchant for Classic Rock And Roll. Yet , for all this Familiarity every New Edition of Kompozitsia unleashes Fresh and Invigorating Compositions. And depending on the Theme of the Specific Edition Fans will hear be treated to a Musical Feast of Varying Flavors. In Volume VIII-- Listen for a some Seriously Souped up English Language Rock Ballads that backed by Rosenfeld's Laser Focused Emphasis on Late 60s to Early 80s Classic Rock Instrumental Structure. Tracks #1. 'All You Want', Track #5. 'Look To The Sunset" and Track #10. 'RocknRoll', drives the point home. Simply, if you liked the Old Batman TV show Electric Guitar Theme--you will LOVE these Tracks, Alternatively, the Roots of Israel is particularly Prevalent comes through like a Champion esp in the Instruments in some Pieces. Hear for yourself starting with Track #2. 'OnaSmotrit', and aside from having Hebrew Lyrics in a laid back Folk styled Melody; the Acoustic Strings, Horn, Piano and Violin Proudly Portray Israeli Heritage. Equally, Lyrical and Mesmerizing is the Mellow yet Penetrating Track #7. 'Left Me On The Moon'. Listen for a Beautiful Duet of Male and Female Voices that supported by Exceedingly Lovely Acoustic Strings and Electric Guitar. And to Listeners who have NO CLUE what "SWING MUSIC" is; I say Literally--"Listen Up Chumps"! Time to be Schooled---Rosenfeld style with, Track #8. 'Gypsy Queen'. Peppy Percussion, String Bass, Acoustic Guitar that is Picked, Plucked and Strummed to Perfection with Elegant "Tickling Of the Ivories( Piano)". If you have not discovered the Magic Of Avi "The Classic" then get with the Program and Listen today.. :D

Awesome

Magical stone.

[just a note: Everything I've wrote within review of album Kompositsia I applies to allKompositsia series, so for overall characteristics refer there. I tend to think of Kompositsialike it was one multi-disk album.]Eight is a magic number in Terry Pratchet's Discworlduniverse. This record is a bit more vigorous than the former. Many guest vocalists invited into cooperation, to just add to huge number of musicians contributing their parts into sometimes massive arranges. In left me on the Moon we hear for the first time female vocals not in chorus but as fully established second voice. An'leree is doing quite wellGenerally, less than half of the songs is in Hebrew, mostly English but with a small excursion into Russian (hey, I still can understand, even if I didn't spoke the language for more than ten years). I like in that piece (Она смотрит на небо) the general feel, something like Alyosha Avdyeyev (Алёшa Авдеев) with his Band.In general, this disk seems to be most mature and best quality of the kompozitsja series. It took me by surprise one or two times, and I learned, that classic blues has still room for experiment, and one doesn't need two trucks of synthesizers and sound processing equipment, neither to cut grand piano in half with jigsaw, to sound all new. Nine stars, fully deserved [+++++++++-] And nomination fo Album of the Year 2012.

Spectacular!

Wolfsong.thePoet • Jun 20, 2012

Oh my . .. OH MY! . . . these bluesy rocking tunes . . are mind blowingly enchanting . . . warm and endearing . . . I REALLY loved "That Look In Her Eyes"! AND, well, that guitar in "Od Meat - Soon" just blew me away . .. and "Yom Gashum Ve Meyuhad (Special Rainy Day)" made me melt . . . and "Crazy Dawns" was beautiful! Actually all the songs were outstanding, as only Avi Rosenfeld can do . . . with the spectacular vocals and guitars . .. hmmmm . . . just listen now . ..

Jukebox or FM Radio Style Mix Album for your Media Player

RangerSeriesBlack • Jun 27, 2012

In the United States and Canada FM Radio Stations often offer a Format referred to as “Mix” as the play list will feature a selection of varied Musical Genres that are similar in Essence or Mood and Avi Rosenfeld's 9th 'Kompozitsia Album performs the same function--Magnificently! Vocal Ballads of Mellow Folk(based)--Track #1. The Green Fields of the North' or Classic Rock Abound. But make no mistake the Album is not a shyly retiring sedate Collection as Track #9. 'Dual', will attest with its powerful Old School Rock, Pumped Vocals and Hard Driving Percussion. Another hallmark of Rosenfeld's Works are the Superb Instrumental Arrangements, use of English and Hebrew and blending of Western Easy Listening Pop with a Israeli Sound—Track #3. 'Shalav Ba Haim'. In short there is something here for most Lovers of Music. Complete your collection and add Kompozitsia IX to the inventory today.
