AVI ROSENFELD BAND
ALBUM REVIEWS
VERY HEEPY VERY PURPLE VII
* " "Somebody Alone" could have easily been a long lost leftover from the Rainbow Down to Earth album... I'm not sure how long Avi Rosenfeld can or will keep doing these Very Heepy Very Purple albums before they become somewhat redundant, but for now they are still a lot of fun for anyone who loves the bands he is paying homage to. Nice job once again! "
* "One of the best things about this album is just how good it makes you feel, it’s happy music that has hallmarks of the yester-year but still has a modern, fresh style to it. Even the slower, more ballady stuff like City Gates will put smiles on faces thanks to a kick-ass guitar solo."

* " "Evil Clown" it's a huge mix of Deep Purple, Rainbow and Iron Maiden .... an album that did a great job bringing back the feeling of hearding the classics of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal from 70s back to present. "
* " Big guitars and big swirling organs and keys bring a proper classic rock/seventies feel to proceedings. For old farts like me who grew up on Uriah Heep and the link it’s a pleasure to listen to a guy like Avi – who is an excellent guitarist, put so much effort in to continually coming up with songs in the vein of his heroes as a labour of love. "
* " The good guitarist does not let you down: the brand name of the new album automatically puts it in the circle of works that have their creative beginnings in the big names of the past."
* " I would say they executed a magnificent play of musical quality the likes of those older well-loved bands of yore. I want to give kudos to the organist in particular."
* " the very retro hard rock strand well within what bands like the Deep Purple and Uriah Heep did. Much analogical organ, many guitars, good melodies and elaborate and structured arrangements make this collection a logical sequence of what the Israeli musician was doing in this field. "
" Classic Rock, that is Rosenfeld his cup of tea. With Uriah Heep and Deep Purple as his main influences, although Yngwie Malmsteen is sounding through... The production job is quite good, especially the big Hammond organ comes through during the songs. "
" a must for those who enjoy classic rock on the beach of the triad with a fortissima influence of Blackmore "
"Avi Rosenfeld releases albums like on a running track, which I like only because every time it comes with good, high-quality material, a freshly wedged atmosphere of the native landscape. "
